One of my clients complaints about their master bedroom was the lack fo closet space.  The challange was a lot of windows and a family room fireplace on one wall which meant there wasn't a lot of options to make a larger closet...the solution was to go down to the basement!  We created a full staircase leading to a large walkin closet utilizing unuesed space from their basement.  We also opened up the ceiling and created a larger window to allow more natural light to come in.  

For the ensuite we removed a hallway powder room to give more space for the ensutie and allowed us to create a new layout.  

The transformation of these spaces was breath taking.
